Opera Theatre

Opera Theatre performs a fully-staged opera with orchestral accompaniment during the spring semester. This ensemble is conducted by Professor Kimcherie Lloyd, with stage direction by Professor Michael Ramach. Cast members are selected by audition and voice faculty recommendation.

Opera Workshop

Opera Workshop meets during the fall semester and is offered under the musical direction of Professor Kimcherie Lloyd, with stage direction by Professor Michael Ramach. Opera Workshop is designed to introduce singers to the fundamentals of opera performance and acting in opera. The semester culminates in the performance of a program including scenes from opera, operetta, and musical theatre.
