Visit Opportunities

There are many options for you to visit the University of Louisville and experience the creativity of music. Visit campus in person with our Campus Visit Program and join us in the School of Music with an Academic Department Visit.

Location & Directions

Directions, if traveling on I-65 South

  1. Take I-65 South (toward Nashville) to exit 134 at Arthur Street
  2. Continue straight to merge onto Arthur Street
  3. At the stop sign, turn right on to E. Brandeis Ave. Brandeis Ave will continue straight and turn into Cardinal Blvd.
  4. Continue on Cardinal Blvd through the roundabout and one traffic light
  5. Turn left onto 1st Street at the School of Music & Unitas Tower (between the University of Louisville fountains entrance, directly across from duPont Manual High School)
  6. Proceed through stop sign to the North Information Center window for parking assistance

Directions, if traveling on I-65 North

  1. Take I-65 North (toward Indianapolis) to Exit 133 at University Blvd
  2. At the end of the exit ramp, turn left onto University Blvd at the traffic light
  3. Continue on University Blvd to the second traffic light at S. Floyd Street
  4. Turn right on to S. Floyd Street.
  5. Continue to the roundabout and take the third exit out of the roundabout to Cardinal Blvd
  6. Continue on Cardinal Blvd through one traffic light
  7. Turn left onto 1st Street at the School of Music & Unitas Tower (between the University of Louisville fountains entrance, directly across from duPont Manual High School)
  8. Proceed through stop sign to the North Information Center window for parking assistance

Parking Options

  • Red, Blue and Green permit designated lots are open to everyone at no charge after 7:30pm Monday-Friday and on weekends.
  • North Information Center- Reservation only before 7:30pm; no charge after 7:30pm Monday-Friday and on weekends.
  • City of Louisville parking meters (located on 3rd and 4th Streets and Cardinal Blvd) $1.50/hr; payment required from 7am-6pm except on Sundays
  • Speed Art Museum Garage- $1/half hour with a maximum of $7

Accessible parking

  • Reserve lot west of the School of Music
  • Directly in front of the School of Music on Brandeis Street North Information Center
  • Speed Art Museum Garage
