Presidential Excellence Award

The UofL Bands sends our congratulations to Dr. Reese Land, Professor of Trumpet, who recently won the Presidential Excellence Award in Creative and Performing Arts. We are grateful for the positive impact he has had on the UofL Trumpet Section, the UofL Bands, and all of our students here at the University of Louisville School of Music; this award is a well-deserved reflection of how much he gives of himself to the University. It was not that long ago that Dr. Land himself was a master's student sitting Principal Trumpet of the UofL Wind Symphony. Congratulations!
